For many spinners, the original FutureStaff XL is a great choice. FutureStaff Designer is for performers who want total control and programmability. Unlike the original FutureStaff, Designer lets you upload custom patterns and unlock new features as we release them. You can plug this programmable LED staff into any OSX/Windows/Linux computer with a USB port and it will show up like a flash drive so you can copy patterns and update files onto it.
The modular staff attachment is made from durable 1″ OD polycarbonate tubing with a rigid wood core, reinforced attachment points, and a high-visibility center for balancing your moves.
Easily disconnect the lights for transport, to switch between staff attachments of different lengths, or to swap out the staff to attach poi leashes. Black silicone tape keeps the staff gripped to your hand.

Each detachable segment is approximately 8.5″ long and includes the same solid wood core as the single-piece staff attachment. There is no center marking point on this staff attachment type.

Fun fact: FuturePoi and FutureStaff use identical lights. You can easily disconnect the FutureStaff lights from the staff attachment and use Poi Leashes instead.
