About the String
Technora String
The denser Technora string has a thicker braid and is made of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating. Thick string is generally good for heavier wanding and toss practices, as it’s extra durable. We recommend this string for LED wands due to the medium to heavier weight. Even though this string is thicker it can still appear relatively invisible in certain lighting. Technora string is also safe for use with fire wands, but be sure to inspect your string each time before use.
Dyneema String
Dyneema string is a braided UHMWPE line known for its impressive strength, smooth handling, and low stretch. It offers a great balance of durability and invisibility, making it a versatile option for many wanding styles. Both sizes are lightweight, abrasion resistant, and comfortable to work with during long sessions.
Important: Dyneema is not fire resistant and should not be used with fire wands. For fire use, choose Technora. Always inspect your string before each use.
70 lb Dyneema String
The thinner 70 lb Dyneema is ideal for short string wanding and lightweight setups. It is strong for its size, has a soft feel, and moves easily through twists while keeping the illusion crisp. Because it is very thin, it blends well into the background in many lighting conditions. Best for light to medium wanding styles.
260 lb Dyneema String
The thicker 260 lb Dyneema offers extra resilience for long string practice, contact moves, and heavier LED wands. The added thickness provides a comfortable grip and more stability without adding noticeable drag. This size is a solid choice for wanders who want durability and reliable handling for high impact or extended flow sessions.
